William "Will" David Horne, Jr.

William "Will" David Horne, Jr., 57, of Reidsville, passed away unexpectedly on May 11, 2026.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 15, 2026, at Woodmont United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Tripp Harmon officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Wilkerson Funeral Home.

Will was born in Rockingham County and graduated from Rockingham County High School in 1986. He later graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a degree in business administration. He started his career with ZARN, Inc. and most recently was employed with Gildan Yarns in Sanford as Human Resources Director. Will was a member of Woodmont United Methodist Church. His childhood experiences included playing baseball from Little League through high school, as well as racing dirt bikes and four-wheelers. He raced whenever possible at Rolling Hills Motocross Track. Will was an avid golfer and spent countless hours designing and creating top-level sound systems in his cars. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Lilie Meeks, and his paternal grandparents, Marcus and Myrtle Horne.

Will is survived by his parents, William and Linda Horne; sister, Erin Collins and her husband, Mark; nieces, Bailey Collins, Morgan Collins, and Katelyn Haskett and her husband, Hunter; nephew, Evan Collins; great-niece, Collins Haskett; and extended family.
