William Birch Strader

William Birch (Bill) Strader passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2022.  He was born December 15, 1941 in Reidsville, NC and had resided there and in Eden for his entire life.

A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Memory Gardens in Reidsville at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 19, with the Rev. Gene Davis officiating.

William was the son of Clyde and Mildred Stone Strader of Reidsville.  He was preceded in death by his mother and father, his brother, Richard Strader of East Bend and his sisters, Martha Bell Strader and Barbara Priddy of Reidsville.  He is survived by his sisters Lucille Martin of Greensboro and Charlotte Woods Griner of Jamestown, and sister-in-law Mary Rae Paschal Strader of Rural Hall.  He is also survived by several nieces and a nephew: Donna Williams (Allan) of Reidsville, April Bullin (Chris) and Wendy Strader of Tobaccoville, Sharon Stephens (George) of Greensboro, and Byron Woods of Carrboro.  

Bill was employed by the City of Reidsville Parks and Recreation Department for a number of years, and was a former employee of Fieldcrest Mills in Eden, and Bassett Furniture in Stoneville..
