Wesley Dean Moore

Wesley Dean Moore, 53, of Reidsville, NC, passed away on October 29, 2022,  with his daughter Ashley and Sister Wendy by his side at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, NC. A visitation in his memory will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at Wilkerson Funeral Home in Reidsville from 6-8 pm.

Wes was born to Lewis and Sandra Moore on December 14, 1968 at Moses Cone Hospital, Greensboro NC. He graduated from Reidsville High School and became a successful businessman. He used his natural born talents as a skilled Mason to help create many homes and eventually his own  business, Moore Masonry.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lewis and Sandra Moore, Uncle Harvey Moore, Aunt Hazel Moore, Uncle Tom Moore and several other loving family members who had a positive impact on his life.

Wes is survived by his only daughter Ashley Moore Wilson and husband Matt, granddaughters Abby and Cora Kenealy, Sister Wendy Moore Smith, Nephew Shane Smith, Sister Susan Moore, “little sister” Melody Haynes, Sister Mary Moore Wilson, and Brothers Bo  and Timmy Moore, Ashley's Mother Angie Warner and husband Tim, and Special Companion Judy Terrell.

He was a wonderful father and friend. He was always able to lighten the mood with his quick wit and sense of humor. He truly had a heart of gold and was always the first to lend a helping hand. He enjoyed fishing with his daughter and granddaughters and loved them with all his heart.

Wes was a great golfer and enjoyed the company of several very special friends at Monroeton Golf

Course. He loved sports, NASCAR and playing cards. Wes will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know him.
