Wade Francis Perdue

Reidsville: Wade Francis Perdue, 71, of Avante and formerly of Gunn Street Apartments, went home to be with his Lord on Friday, June 27, 2008. A graveside funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, June 29th at Reidlawn Cemetery. Wade was born in Rockingham County to the late Wade Hampton Perdue and Sallie Smith Perdue. He was of the Baptist faith and retired from Creighton Industries after 25 years of service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Sam Murray, Jr. He is survived by his sister, Elva Lea Murray of Greenville, NC; brothers, Willard Perdue and wife, Mary of Reidsville, James Vernon Perdue and wife, Eleanor of Eden; several special nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Sunday, June 29th from 1:30- 2:30PM. Other times the family will be at the home of Willard and Mary Perdue, 1530 Pearman Street, Reidsville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Baptist School, 509 Triangle Road, Reidsville, NC 27320 of charity of donor’s choice.
