Virginia Ann Eastwood

Virginia “Giggy” Ann Eastwood, 74, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Moses Cone Hospital.

A graveside service will be held at Tabernacle Baptist Church Cemetery on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 3:00PM. There will not be any formal visitation.

Virginia was born on October 3, 1951, to the late Elmer and Alline Singleton. She liked shopping for clothes and loved getting flowers for her yard. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. She was a loving wife to her husband and adored her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Curtis Singleton, and sister, Jeanette Ward.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Billy Eastwood; daughters, Dana Pruitt and Donna Kiser; grandchildren, Douglas Pruitt, Katy Lovins, AJ “Bubba” Bailey, Miranda Williams, Chandler Singleton; great-grandchildren, Emilee, Kolbee, Brantlee, Blake, Brody, Emma, and Nova; brothers, Douglas Singleton and Carson Singleton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choosing.
