Tina Renae Szychowicz

The world lost a beloved wife, mother and Nana on December 8th 2023. Tina Renae Szychowicz (52) of Julian, NC went home to be with the lord surrounded by her loving family.

 Tina courageously fought a lengthy battle with COPD but that never stopped her from giving out the best hugs.  She enjoyed spending time with her family but especially enjoyed being with her sweet grandbabies who brought so much joy to her life. She will be remembered best by her warm, comforting hugs as well as her many words of wisdom.

Tina is survived by her husband of 25 years, William Joseph Szychowicz, Jr.; Father Clyde Sneed of Reidsville,her two children who made up the entirety of her world Tasha Troxler (Matthew) Reidsville, Cory Szychowicz (Victoria) Burlington, stepchildren Michael Szychowicz (Julie) Monica Ryan (Travis); sisters Sandi Reeves of Burlington, Diane Reeves of Reidsville, brothers Clay Moser of Reidsville and Joel Joyce of Reidsville; grandchildren Savannah “Grayce” Pruitt, Jeremy “Hudson” Pruitt, Adalynn Renae Szychowicz, Cory Blake “Bubba” Szychowicz, Jr.; step-grandchildren Chase William Szychowicz, Tyler John Ryan, Jacob Michael Szychowicz and Maisy Michele Ryan. She loved all of her nieces and nephews dearly.

Tina was preceded in death by her mother Betty Joyce Sneed as well as her brothers Roger Lawson, James Wesley Sneed and brother-in-law Larry Reeves.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, December 12, at 2:00 PM in the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be at 1:00 prior to the service in the chapel. The celebration of life will be conducted by dear friend, Laverne Schultz. A private committal service will be held at a later date for immediate family.

The family will receive friends at the home of Tasha and Matthew Troxler on Water Works Road in Reidsville.
