Tia Rene Mabry

Tia Rene Mabry, 58, passed away at her home on Wednesday, April 22, 2026.

A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Templeton officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Tia was born in Rockingham County to the late Philip Elroy Dillon and Lois Noel Carles Dillon. She was a devoted stay-at-home mother to her three children before beginning a career in the textile industry. Tia cherished her family above all and found great joy in spending time with them. In her free time, she enjoyed fishing, reading, and knitting. She was a huge NASCAR fan and loved attending concerts.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Lynn Chilton, and her stepson, Rodney Mabry.

She is survived by her loving husband, Alton Ray “Skip” Mabry; sons, Jeremiah Collins and Kodi Collins (Lexi); daughter, Samantha Collins; grandchildren, Kinslee, Willow, and Liam; brother, Phillip Dillon; sisters, Jeri Pickrell, Angela Beeson and Wendy Lawrence; and special nephew, Josh Corum (Allyson).
