Thelma Rakes Strader

Thelma Rakes Strader, 87, passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at UNC Rockingham Nursing Center. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Happy Home Church with Rev. Bruce McBride officiating. A private burial will follow the service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Fred Strader; son, Larry C. Strader and numerous brothers and sisters. Survivors include her sister-in-law, Estelle Rakes; grandson, Glenn Strader and wife, Krista; daughter-in-law, Shirley W. Strader and brother-in-law, Ray Strader and wife, Lula.
