Teresa “Terri” Jones Bryant, born July 22, 1958, peacefully departed this life at her home on Wednesday, July 15, 2020, while surrounded by her family. Terri was a devoted and faithful Christian and lived her life as a mission to encourage others and to share the love of Christ with all whom she encountered. She valued caring for others above all else. Terri was an active participant with Therapy Dogs International and frequently visited residents in her community’s nursing homes with her beloved Basset Hound, Sugababe, where she offered encouragement and a bright smile to all. Terri is predeceased by her father, Louis Jones; her mother, Elsie Lavinder Jones; and her sister, Jane Williams. Terri is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 44 years, Greg; her daughter, Blair Smith (Dean); her grandson, Bryant Smith; sister, Sandra Barker (Jerry); brother, Wayne Jones (Vangie); brother-in-law, Rob Williams; and a host of nieces and nephews. A private memorial service will be held at the Wilkerson Funeral Home in Reidsville, NC. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Rockingham County, PO Box 281, Wentworth, NC 27375, and to the SPCA of the Triad, 3163 Hines Chapel Rd, Greensboro, NC 27405.

So many memories with Terri and her family since we grew up in church together. Then years later she came to do piano with me. Such a sweet and caring person. God must have needed an angel for she certainly was one. So blessed to have known Terri . May you rest in the sweet arms of Jesus. Will see you again one day.

Greg, I met you and Terri when y'all were living off Westover. Terri worked in the OR where my mother was an RN and I was the pesky, hopefully helpful, volunteer that everyone tolerated. Y'all also visited our house at Smith Mt Lake. Your wife was just as sweet as she was beautiful and I've never forgotten her kindness! I'm so distressed to see that she left this world too soon. Your family will be in my prayers! God Bless you all, Laura Reid

One memory I always remember is every single time I have an anxiety attack, or I am just down I would call Terri and tell her to please pray for me. Terri always had the best prayers and would go full out when she would pray. I have been praying for Terri and the Bryant's since the first time I started praying. I am so dearly sorry for your loss. I love Terri so very much. I am still praying that God touches all of yours hearts and heals your souls. It is not easy getting over something like this, but in times like this you just have to stay positive like Terri always has been. She is in heaven with Grandma and Papa Louis, and her sister nana ( Jane ). I love all of you with all of my heart. Love Alexis Wheeler,

My cousin Terri was so full of life and joy! Her love for mom and sister Jane was still radiated even though they were with the Lord. Her love for family, near or far, could never be doubted. She was radiant! She would be quick to tell you her joy and radiance was from Christ. Greg, Blair, Sandra and Wayne I am so sorry. You all have been in my prayers. The comfort of Christ be with you!
