Tammy Washburn

Tammy Jo Stanley Washburn, 58, went home to be with the Lord on May 4^th, 2022.

A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday, May 21, 2022, at 11 AM at Evergreen Memory Gardens with Rev. Peter Dodge officiating.

Tammy was born in Rockingham County to the late James and Jo-Anne Stanley. She graduated from Reidsville High School and worked for Rockingham County as an animal control officer. She loved animals and always did her best to find the owners while working as animal control. She was a racing wife and enjoyed watching Earl race at the track. She was a wonderful mother, and she enjoyed a simple life. She will be missed by all who knew her.               

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Thomas Earl Washburn.

She is survived by her son, Joey Washburn (Katrina Moore); grandchildren, Rod Washburn, Waylon and Sophia Moore as well as a loving group of extended family and friends.
