Susan Cross Mitchell

Susan Cross Mitchell, 53, of Ridgeway, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, August 5, 2019 at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Dan River Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Susan was born in the Guilford County to the late Cecil Martin and Ruth Saunders Cross. She loved the beach, animals, flowers and home décor. Most of all she loved being with her family. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 16 years, Dwayne Mitchell; daughter, Amy Mitchell and brother, Gary Cross. She is survived by her son, Brandon Mitchell and wife, Christina; grandchildren, Michael and McKenzie Mitchell; brothers, Mike, Mark and Doug Cross as well as a large extended family.
