Shirley Fitch Wilson

Shirley Fitch Wilson, 69, of Reidsville, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 4, 2026. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, August 7, 2026, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Russell McKinney officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside.

Shirley was born in Person County, NC to the late Ralph Ray Fitch and Mary King Fitch. She retired from Wrangler, where she worked as a seamstress for many years. A dedicated and hardworking woman, she was always busy and took pride in everything she did. She loved sewing, reading, and working puzzles. She also found great joy in spending time outdoors tending to her flowers and cherished every opportunity to spend time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Lynn Wilson, and her brother, Michael Joseph Fitch. She is survived by her brother, David Ray Fitch and wife, Nora, of Reidsville; and her sister, Geraldine "Geri" Utley of Carrollton, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews, whom she dearly loved.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to her special friend and neighbor, Tony, as well as her many friends and former coworkers with whom she enjoyed sharing meals and fellowship over the years. Your friendship, kindness, and care meant so much to Shirley and brought her great joy.
