Sarah Dickerson Cox

Sarah Dickerson Cox, 83, of Stoneville went home to be with The Lord, Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at UNC Rockingham in Eden.

A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Monday, November 29, 2021, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Gene Davis officiating. Sarah will be available for viewing after noon on Saturday at the funeral home.

Sarah was born in Rockingham County to the late Carlton and Sadie Dickerson. She was a longtime and faithful member of Eastside Baptist Church. Sarah worked for many years as a lab technician for various x-ray and dental laboratories. She loved the outdoors and was always friendly to everyone. Sarah was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister Jean Windsor; her brothers Carl Dickerson, Jerry Dickerson, and David Dickerson.

Sarah is survived by her children Debra Cox Coleman and husband Thomas and Craig Cox and wife Brenda; grandchildren Candy Coleman, Timmy Coleman and wife Erica, Brandi Cox Burden and husband Everette, and Rebecca Cox; great grandchildren Tate and Lillie Coleman; sister Rebekah Goodrich; and a large extended family.
