Sandra "Sandy" Inman Klaus

Sandra Beth Inman Klaus passed away on September 7, 2026, leaving behind a family, church family, and countless friends who loved her dearly.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at Freedom Baptist Church with Pastors Ronnie Warner and Noah Hooper officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, September 11, 2026, from 6-8 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home.

Sandy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, but above all, she was a woman who loved the Lord. Her faith was at the very center of her life. She gave her heart to Jesus in February 1991, and throughout the many seasons that followed, her desire was for her life to be a testimony of God's goodness and faithfulness.

Sandy was the daughter of James William Inman and Dorothy Mae Inman. Family meant everything to her, and some of her greatest joy came from being a wife, mother, and grandmother.

She leaves behind her loving husband, Dennis Klaus; her children, Michael Wrenn and his children, Kinsley, Cage, and Lily Mae; Damon Wrenn and his wife, Kaylee, and their children, Jase and Oaklyn; Katie Sutton and her husband, Mike, and their daughter, Destiny Caldwell; and Nickolas Klaus. She also leaves behind her brothers, James Inman, Tommy Inman, and Mark Inman, along with extended family and many dear friends who held a special place in her heart.

Sandy loved her church and her church family. She was a member of Freedom Baptist Church, where she loved serving the Lord, singing, encouraging others, helping with church activities, and simply being with the people she loved.

The last season of Sandy's life brought many difficult days. She endured illness, hospital stays, procedures, surgeries, and uncertainty, but she continued to ask people to pray. Again and again, she wanted those around her to know that God was still God, that prayer still mattered, and that Jesus was still faithful.

Even during some of her hardest moments, Sandy wanted her story to point people toward Christ. She wanted her life—both the joyful parts and the difficult ones—to be a testimony that God never leaves His children.

Sandy loved deeply. She treasured her husband, her children, her grandchildren, her family, her friends, and her church. She loved gathering people together, celebrating life's special moments, and making memories with those closest to her.

Those who loved Sandy will grieve her absence more than words can express, but they do not grieve without hope. The faith that Sandy spoke about so often is now the faith her family can hold onto as they say goodbye.

Her family will remember her strength, her love, her laughter, her determination, and most of all, her faith.

Sandy fought a long and difficult battle. Now her battle is over.
