Sadie James Surles

Sadie James Surles, 82, passed away on Friday, July 9, 2021.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis Chapman officiating. The family will see friends one hour prior to the service starting at 10:00AM and other times at Billy's home, 213 Sweetgum Rd. Burial will follow in Reidlawn Cemetery.

Sadie was born in Alamance County to the late Lewis and Martha Perdue James. She was a retiree of Miller Brewing Company. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, George Surles; son Johnny Surles and sister, Ida Gibson.

Survivors include her sons, Jeffrey Surles and fiancé Denise and David Surles; grandchildren, Jacob Surles, Jamie Surles and wife Ashley; brothers, Jimmy James, Billy James and wife, Betty and Donnie James and wife, Debbie.
