Ruby Richards Spencer

Ruby Richards Spencer, 84, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at her home. She loved her family, being at the beach, gardening and traveling.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill McKinney officiating. 

Ruby was born in Franklin, Virginia and was a retiree of Creighton Shirt Factory. She was preceded in death by her mother, Katherine Richards Matherly; husband, Milton Spencer; son Donald (Donnie) Wayne Chrisman and brothers, Thomas Richards, Sr. and James (Jimmy) Richards.

Survivors include her daughter, Rita Brightwell and husband Keith; grandchildren Carmen Tucker, David Streeter, Jr., Rodney Worley and Donna Chrisman; great grandchildren Rachel, Rebecca and Ryan Worley and Caleb, Ciarrah, Silas Eli Tucker; sister, Juanita Kay Matherly; nieces and nephews Melissa, Thomas, Leanne, Nikki, James and David and many close cousins and friends.
