Roger Dean Pegram

Roger Dean Pegram, 75, passed away at Annie Penn Hospital on Wednesday, January 15, 2020. A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 19, 2020, at Lowes United Methodist Church with Dr. Rick Auten and Rev. Alan Pruitt officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow the service at Lowes United Methodist Church Cemetery. Roger was born to the late Edward Jonah Pegram and Ainie Pearl Duncan Pegram. He retired after 30 years of service from Lorillard Tobacco Company. He loved farming and old cars, particularly 55 Chevrolets. He was an avid rabbit hunter for many years, most of all, he loved his family. He will be greatly missed. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Bobby J. Pegram. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carolyn Chilton Pegram; daughter, Crystal French and husband, Justin; granddaughters, Hannah and Madison French; special nephews, Bobby J. Pegram and Tommy T. Pegram; four legged babies, Bella and Shadow as well as a loving extended family. Memorial contributions may be made to Lowes United Methodist Church at 3191 NC Highway 87, Reidsville, NC 27320.
