Robert Edward "Eddie" Roberson

Robert Edward Roberson “Eddie” 73 of Reidsville, NC passed away peacefully on Sunday May 31, 2026.

Born on July 8, 1952 in Rockingham County, Eddie’s gentle spirit and desire to help others gained him friends from North Carolina to Alaska to Mexico. He loved to fish, hunt arrowheads, spend time at his cabin, going to bluegrass festivals, riding around in his big obnoxious bus, “The Blue Goose”, but most of all just being Pappy.

He is survived by his daughters Maria Thompson (Jamey) and Melissa Roberson, his grandchildren Hannah, Abbey, Kaylen, Joshua, and brothers Steve Roberson, Joseph Roberson, and Mark Roberson (Debbie).

He was preceded in death by his father Bethel, mother Frances, brother Mike, and niece Stephanie Ann Roberson.

Eddie will surely be missed by his family and countless friends, especially his random “Pappy Pull-Ups”.

A memorial service will be held at Wilkerson Funeral Home in Reidsville on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 6:00PM, with visitation one hour prior to the service, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that acts of kindness be performed in his memory.
