Robert Dale King

Robert Dale King, 65, passed away at his home on August 27, 2023.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, September 1, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Paul Grover Officiating.

Dale was born in Rockingham County to the late Curtis King and Mary Smith Miller. Dale was a longtime employee of Cone Mills. He loved being outdoors, fishing, mowing, and working on cars. Most of all, he loved his family he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his son Michael Miller and sister, Rachel Sutton.

Dale is survived by his son, Curtis King; siblings, Betty Smith and husband, Rickey, Ruth Miller, Charles King and wife, Wanda; Peggy Garcia and husband, Sergio as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and a large extended family.
