Robert Lawton Kelly

Ruffin – Robert Lawton Kelly, 70, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Hospice Home of Rockingham County. Crypt side funeral services will be held 3:00 PM on Monday, March 14, 2011 at Evergreen Memory Gardens. Mr. Kelly was born in Green County, KY and was the son of the late Robert and Clovis Young Kelly. He was a veteran in the US Army and retired from Lorillard Tobacco Company. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sisters, Barbara and Roxie. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Metcalfe Kelly of the home; his daughter, Lisa Whitfield and husband, Daniel of Ruffin; and his grandchildren, Lillian, Kaitlyn, Daniel, Jr., Dillon and Gwyneth. There will be no formal visitation.
