Robert Edward Williams

Robert Edward Williams, 80, went home to be with the Lord on June 10, 2023, at Annie Penn Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at The Fellowship, 1601 Barnes Street, Reidsville, NC. The family will receive friends at the home of his son, Charles Williams.

Robert was born on April 13, 1943, to the late Edward and Marie Williams in Reidsville, NC. He later attended Bethany School before going to work at Zarn for over twenty years. Later, he retired from Ensley Plastics as a grinder operator and then worked part-time for several years as a security guard. He also would sell produce on Highway 14, in the parking lot of All in The Family. Robert never met a stranger and loved to talk and meet new people. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family and going to the mountains. He loved his kids and grandkids more than anything and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda Anchondo; granddaughter, Jeanette “Prissy” Clifton; and brother, Gene Williams.

He is survived by his sons, Charles Williams and Ricky Clifton; daughters, Patsy Humphrey and husband Greg, Linda Clifton; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Polly Carter and nephews, Kemp Carter and Dean Carter in addition to numerous other extended family members.
