Robert "Bob" Howard Bridges

Robert "Bob" Howard Bridges, 70, of Archdale, NC, passed away on May 05, 2025, after battling worsening chronic health conditions for the last few months. He was surrounded by his loving family and passed away peacefully at Baptist Hospital. Bob was born in Madison, WI to Howard and Phyllis Bridges. He graduated from college with a bachelor's degree in accounting, but quickly excelled in computer programming and made a life-long career in that profession. Along with programming, Bob loved his family, every family dog, reading, music, and the outdoors. Bob’s love for family was evident in everything he did in life. He shared his passion for programming, languages, and apologetics (among many other things) with anyone that would listen. He is preceded in death by his father, mother, and one nephew. He will be missed by his six children with spouses, three siblings with spouses, 12 grandchildren, and seven nieces and nephews. A homecoming service will be held at Grace Church, 1141 Enterprise Dr, High Point, NC 27260 on June 01, 2025, from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Please come dressed very casual, just as Bob would have.
