Rhianna Marie Collins

Rhianna Marie Collins, 22, of Summerfield, NC passed away June 10th 2025 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital surrounded by family and friends. A memorial was held on June 12th through a Honor Walk at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital.

She is predeceased by her grandfather Charles “Buddy” Howle, her great-grandparents Emily and Herbert Welsh, Muse and Sarah Howle, Junior Lee Collins and Mary Lou Collins.

Rhianna's memory will forever be cherished by her mother Rebecca Howle Collins, her father Kevin Lee Collins, siblings Danielle Howle, Joshua Collins and Noah “Cecile” Collins, grandparents Joyce and Clyde “Mac” McCranie, aunts Kimberly Futrell, Staci Cote, Debbie Collins, Lisa Collins and Samantha Collins, as well as numerous cousins and many friends.

Rhianna was a beautiful and rare soul with a heart of gold who loved fiercely, honestly and completely without compromise. That was her. She didn't know how else to love...what a gift. Throughout her 22 years of life she was a talented violinist, an avid reader of epic fantasy, loving cat mom to 4 precious fur babies, burgeoning sketch artist, rising star at work, loyal friend to many and so much more than mere words are able to describe. Such a joy to be around. She shined so bright and gave so freely; seeming to always put others before self. To know her, to love and be loved by her was truly a blessing, an honor, a true privilege and the greatest gift. She illuminated so many lives with her amazing light and brilliant spirit. She touched hearts and minds with a kindness and generosity beyond her years. Her beautiful smile and gentle laugh would light the darkest moment - you knew you were loved.

She attended Northwest Senior High School and was an honor student known by friends and staff for her razor sharp intelligence. At first glance Rhianna was a quiet person but once she got to know you, you were privileged to enjoy her quick wit, sharp mind, intelligent yet thoughtful conversation and wicked sense of humor. She listened when you spoke and heard what you were saying. You felt the joy and warmth of her presence. She was real. She was honest. She was true. We loved just being around her. Rhianna was blessed with a creative soul expressed in various ways through music, writing and sketching - finding unique ways to express her feelings and life experiences.

Rhianna Marie Collins - A light and gift to this world. Gone too quickly but loved so completely. You are missed with every heartbeat. ❤️
