Randy Vernon Loftis

Randy Vernon Loftis, 67, of Reidsville, went home on Sunday, October 25, 2026.

A graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 29, 2026 at Alamance Memorial Park in Burlington, NC with Pastor Phil Surrett officiating.

Randy was born in Rockingham County to the late Lindsey Loftis and Nancy Vernon Loftis.

Randy was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting, and spending time outdoors. He had a special talent for fishing and was often called a "fish magnet" because of his ability to catch fish when no one else could. He enjoyed sharing his knowledge and teaching others about fishing, always willing to pass along what he had learned. Randy was a caring man who found great joy in sharing his love of the outdoors with others.

In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Loftis.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Patricia "Patty" Ingold Loftis; stepson, Jeremy Owens and wife Taylor; grandchildren, Lily Mae Owens and Griffin Owens; and brother, Dennis Loftis and wife Sharon.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Wesley Long Cancer Center and Cone Health for the excellent care, kindness, and compassion shown to Randy throughout his treatments and hospital stays.
