Rachel King Sutton

Rachel King Sutton, 72, of Reidsville went home to be with the Lord early Wednesday morning surrounded by her family.

A visitation will be held at Wilkerson Funeral Home Friday, January 14, 2022 from 6-8 PM.

Rachel was born in Rockingham County to the late Curtis King and Mary Smith King. She loved the mountains and enjoyed many trips to Cherokee and Gatlinburg. She was an amazing cook and home maker. She loved to decorate for all holidays. Most of all, she loved her family.

Rachel is survived by her husband of 55 years, Allen J. Sutton; children, Bobby J Sutton and wife, Jodi and Rachel Michelle Sutton; grandsons, Jonathan and wife, Ashlyn, Joshua and wife, Lindsay, and Cody Sutton and wife, Michelle; and 10 great grandchildren; siblings, Betty K Smith, Ruth K Miller, Charles King, Dale King, Peggy K Garcia as well as a large and loving group of extended family and friends.
