Phyllis Johnson

Phyllis Johnson, 63, of Reidsville, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026. The family plans to have a private celebration of life at a later date.

Phyllis was born in Guilford County to the late Harold S. Sands and Lois P. Sands. She had a big heart and was a warm, caring person who would have given the shirt off her back to help someone else. She was hardworking and a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be greatly missed.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her mother; her husband, Rodney Johnson; her sons, Terry Nixon, Jr. and wife, Shannon, and Travis Nixon; Cliff Johnson and wife, Casey, and Melodie Johnson; her brother, Ronnie Steven Sands; as well as nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and one on the way; and her two dogs, Ace and Grace.
