Phillip Anthony Gantt

Reidsville – Phillip Anthony Gantt, Sr., 42, of 150 Southfork Drive, died on Saturday, February 16, 2008 after a lengthy illness. Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at Evergreen Memory Gardens with Rev. Michael Tillman and Rev. Jimmy Cain officiating. Phillip was a native of Rockingham County. He attended Ruffin Stacey Baptist Church. He loved fishing, shooting pool and spending time with his children. He was preceded in death by his father, Royal Gantt; brothers, Vernell Dwyane “Red” Gantt and Matthew “Bo” Gantt; sister, Debby Hernandez; nephew Ricky Morton. Phillip is survived by his wife, Sara “Marie” Gantt of the home; Philip Anthony Gantt, Jr. of the home; daughters, Tiffany Marie and Samantha Lynne Gantt of the home; mother, Frances Dickens Goodson of Summerfield; brothers, Kenny Gantt and wife, Kim of Eden; sisters, Jodie Cardwell of Summerfield and Cindy Gantt of Stoneville and godsons, Kyller and Hollen Scott.
