Nicodemo "Momo" Pereda Juan

Nicodemo “Momo” Pereda Juan , 41, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2026.

A funeral liturgy will be held at Saint Joseph of the Hills Catholic Church on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 12:00 PM with Father Peter Townsend officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow the service at Highland Burial Park in Danville, VA.

Momo was born in Jalapa De Diaz, Oaxaca , Mexico to Adan Pereda Carrera and Gloria Juan Quintero. He came to the US in 2004 eventually working for Haymes Brothers Construction . He was a good father and loved his children. He was passionate about his Futbol team Cruz Azul and was a huge fan of Messi and Barcelona. Most of all he loved his family.

He is preceded in death by his cousin Oscar Pereda Morelos.

Along with his parents, Pereda is survived by his wife of 19 years Angelica Mendoza; children, Nicole Pereda, Jordi Pereda and Dannia Itzel Pereda; Granddaughter Victoria Rojas Pereda;grandmother, Josefina Quintero Bautista; siblings Goycoche, Teodoro, Abundio, Rudy, Angeleta, Gloria, and Genoveva Pereda Juan.

Nicodemo Juan Pereda,nconocido como “Momo”, de 41 años, falleció el Viernes 28 de Agosto de 2026. Nicodemo Pereda Juan “Momo” nació en Jalapa de Díaz, Oaxaca, México .

Hijo de Adán Pereda Carrera y Gloria Juan Quintero. Llego a los Estados Unidos en el 2004, donde finalmente trabajo para Haymes Brothers Construction .

Fue un buen padre y amaba a sus hijos . Le apasionaba su equipo de fútbol , Cruz Azul, y era un gran fanático de Messi y del Barcelona. Pero, sobre todo amaba a su familia .

Le precede en la Muerte su primo Oscar Pereda Morelos .

Además de sus padres, a Nicodemo Pereda Juan le sobreviven su esposa Angélica Mendoza, con la cual estuvo casado por 19 años , sus hijos Nicole Pereda , Jordi Pereda , Dannia Itzel Pereda , su nieta Victoria Rojas Pereda , su abuela Josefina Quintero Bautista y sus hermanos, Abundio , Rudy, Teodoro , Angeleta , Goycochea , Genoveva y Gloria Pereda Juan .

La Misa fúnebre se celebrará en la Iglesia Catholica de St. Joseph of the Hill. Sábado 5 de Septiembre de 2026 a las 12:00 pm, oficiada por el padre Peter James Townsend. La familia recibirá a familiares y amigos a las 11:00am en la iglesia. El sepelio se llevará a cabo después del servicio en Highland Burial Park, en Danville, Virginia.
