Peggy Adams Tatarski

Reidsville:  Peggy Adams Tatarski, 81, of 209 Pond Drive, Atlantic Beach, NC and formerly of Reidsville, died on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at Carteret General Hospital in Morehead City. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, May 4, 2008 at Penn Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Puryear officiating.   Entombment will follow in Reidlawn Mausoleum.   Pallbearers will be Ted, Phil and Billy Szostak, Mitchell and David Stone, Adam and Daniel Tatarski and Jeff Simpson. Peggy was born in Mt. Airy, NC to the late Mitchell Edward Adams and Myrtle Bramlett Adams.   She was a graduate of East Carolina University and was a teacher and former co-owner of Adams Electric Company.   She was a member of Bogue Banks Baptist Church.   In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Louis Tatarski. She is survived by her sons, Eddie Tatarski and wife, Ann, Joe Tatarski and wife, Catherine, all of Reidsville; daughter, Gwyn Stone and husband, David of Atlantic Beach, NC; grandchildren, Mitchell Stone and wife, Debbie, Laura Simpson and husband, Jeff, Paige Tatarski, Adam Tatarski, David Stone and fiancé, Casey Willey, Rachel Tatarski, Allison Tatarski, Daniel Tatarski; step grandchild, Sonya Sappenfield; great grandchildren, Christina Stone and Harrison Stone; step great grandchildren, Tasha Ellis, Heather Ellis, Michael Bishop, Noah Harrell and Leah Willey; sister, Mitchelene Adams Martin of Reidsville. The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Saturday, May 3rd from 7:00 – 9:00 PM.   Other times the family will be at the home of Eddie and Ann Tatarski, 910 Oakcrest Drive, Reidsville. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Peggy’s favorite charity,  St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 .
