Peggy Jean Farmer Johnson

Peggy Jean Farmer Johnson, 88, of 1247 Richardson Drive, Reidsville went home to be with The Lord on Friday, July 9, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

A cryptside service will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Lakeview Memorial Park, 3600 N O’Henry Blvd, Greensboro with Rev. Dave Huggins and Rev. Kenny Houston officiating.

Peggy was born in Stokes County to the late Arthur and Ethel Beasley Farmer. She was a longtime and faithful member of First Baptist Church. Peggy retired from the American Tobacco Company with over 41 years of service. Her meticulous attention to details was obvious to the whole neighborhood as she decorated for every season and always kept her yard in tip top shape. Peggy adored her family and was always available day or night. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, Neal Johnson; her brothers Roy “Bo” Farmer, Alvis Farmer, Vernon “Bud” Farmer, Bob Farmer and Bill Farmer; sisters Ila “Kat” Huskey, Frances Walker and Jeanette Cline.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and a large extended family.
