Patricia Somers King

Patricia Somers King, 67, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Cypress Valley in Reidsville.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Patricia was born on October 10, 1958, in Rockingham County. She was a sweet and kind-hearted woman who never left the house without her makeup, always taking pride in her appearance. Patricia had a creative spirit and found great joy in sewing, crocheting, and painting, often sharing her handmade creations with those she loved. Her greatest pride and joy were her children, whom she loved with all her heart. She also had a special fondness for angels and was well known for her treasured collection of angel figurines, which reflected the gentle and caring nature she shared with everyone she met.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar Somers and Annie Mae Somers; and her brother, Roger Somers.

Patricia is survived by her children, Amy Stein and Christopher Stein; grandchildren, Dalton Carter, Autumn Tatum, Elijah Tatum; sister, Judy Somers; brothers, Thomas Somers (Debbie) and James Somers, in addition to numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
