Nancy Puckett Bailey

Nancy Puckett Bailey, 84, of 2311 Westover Drive, Reidsville, went home to be with The Lord on Saturday, May 4th, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Pastor Sandy Brown and Pastor Mickey Alcorn officiating. The burial will follow at Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday, May 6, 2019 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home and other times at her home. Mrs. Bailey was born on January 12, 1935 to the late Arthur and Nina Berry Puckett. Mrs. Bailey was a charter member of Bible Way Community Church and Bible Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family at the beach and the cabin at Rockingham Lake. She enjoyed working with flowers, fishing, feeding birds and taking care of her two cats, Kitty Babe and Little Gray. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Milton Bailey; her son, Milton Lewis “Mickey” Bailey, Jr.; her grandson, Danny Haley; her brothers, Steve Puckett and Joseph “Jay” Puckett. Nancy is survived her son, Bobby Bailey and wife, Candice of Eden; her daughters, Sandra Daves and husband, Bill; Carolyn Haley and husband, Tom; Patricia Trent and husband, Donnie all of Reidsville; fourteen grandchildren; twenty one great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Cheryl Puckett.
