Nancey Willis Kallam went to be with the Lord, her heavenly home on April 16, 2022.    

A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Memory Gardens on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 11:00AM with Pastor Dennis Chapmon officiating. The family will greet friends after the service.

Nancey as born on August 12, 1945 to the late Mr. William H. Willis and Mary {Louise} Butts Willis. She was a graduate of Barlett Yancey High School in Yanceyville, NC. and was a CNA for many years and worked also for Hospice of Rockingham County. She loved caring for people and always would do her best to make you smile. Nancey was a person that would tell people in passing ”Joy to the World!” She was also a two time cancer survivor. She loved her home and working around her flowers, as well as collecting antiques. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Smith; brothers Thomas Willis, Douglas Willis, Robert Willis, Teddy Willis, Ronnie Willis, William Willis, and James Willis; sisters Mary Stowe, Doris Pierce, Rebecca Underwood, and Judy Willis.

Survivors are her brother Roy Willis; sisters Linda Lynch and Betty Sue Willis along with numerous nieces and nephews.
