Mildred Jean Greer

Mildred Jean Greer, 77, of Browns Summit, was born to the late Samual and Mable Collie. She was preceded in death by her son, Guy Brown; her brothers, Sammy and Clarence; and her sister, Mary.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Lee Roy Greer; her son, Paul Brown; three sisters, Sharon, Judy, and Ruby; her grandson, Jake; and great-granddaughter, Mila.

She said, “Remember me as a loving mother, wife, aunt, friend, and grandmother. I did the best I could to show my love. I fought a good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith.”

Her life was a reflection of that faith, her love for family, and her quiet strength that never wavered.
