Mary Ann Lee, 77, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 30, 2026. Born on November 30, 1948, in Rockingham County, Mary Ann was a dedicated prayer warrior who embraced life with a deep spiritual conviction that inspired those around her.

A Graveside Service to honor Mary's memory will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Ruffin Community Cemetery.

Mary's passions reflected a profound appreciation for the beauty of the natural world. She delighted in birds, flowers, and home decor, and found great joy in the serene environments of the beach and mountains. Her love for sailboats and antiques further revealed a woman who treasured both adventure and history, weaving these interests into the fabric of her daily life.

A devoted wife to Gerald Lee, Mary, shared a beautiful life filled with love and commitment. She is survived by her son, Daniel Billingsley, and his wife, Mysti, who carry forward her legacy of kindness and devotion. Mary Ann's close-knit family also includes her brothers Berkley Alcorn and his wife Alythia, Allen Alcorn and his wife Mandy, Bruce Alcorn (Kathy), and Gary Alcorn and his wife Debbie, and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom hold her memory dear.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Numa Harold Alcorn and Mary Louise Alcorn, her sister Alice Barrett, and her brother David Alcorn. Their memories remain a treasured part of Mary's life story.

Mary leaves behind a legacy of devotion and beauty that will continue to inspire all who were fortunate to know her.
