Marty Lawrence Overby

Reidsville –Marty Lawrence Overby, 55, passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2010.A Celebration of life will be held from 6 – 8 P.M., Monday, June 21, 2010 at Wilkerson Funeral Home.Mr. Overby, a native of Rockingham County, was born on June 5, 1955. He was a truck driver for Cooke Trucking Company out of Mt. Airy, N.C. He was loved and will be missed.He is survived by his wife, Helen G. Overby; step-children, Brandon and Bethany Irvine both of Reidsville; three step-grandchildren all of Reidsville; half-brother and half-sister, Gerald Giles and Carolyn Gammon of Pelham; uncle, Russell Overby of Reidsville; aunts, Joy Bell Martin of Reidsville, Frances Fuquay of Casville and Irene Evans of Pelham and numerous cousins and friends.
