We were so fortunate to know Martin though it was for a short time. We will miss seeing him sitting outside as you did the yard work and mowing. Our thoughts are with you Doris and your loving family.

MEMORIES of uncle Martin

I feel so blessed to have known him and call him my uncle Martin.
To say he was a gentle Giant is a understatement.
He always had such a loving and giving soul.
One of the kindest men I've ever known.
As a child he looked like he must have been 15 ft. tall.
I recall him having to "duck" under some doorways just to enter the room.
I absolutely loved watching him pick on Aunt Doris.
I will always remember his big 'old smile and his extra healthy mustache.
I'm gonna miss his homegrown and homemade delicious Kale. He sure knew how to do it right.
We can celebrate his earthly life before ALS robbed him of so many things.
We can rejoice in knowing he was a child of God.
Oh what a happy day he'll have when he enters into our heaven.
I love you uncle Martin and I'll see you again… one great day
