Louise McCollum Cobb McLemore

Louise McCollum Cobb McLemore, 85, born on May 31, 1937, In Reidsville, North Carolina. She passed peacefully from COVID pneumonia on December 30, 2022.  She is now reunited with her father, Elbert McCollum and mother, Gladys Sharp McCollum Strader; son, Shey McLemore, baby, Joy Dane Cobb and many other loved ones. 

NOTE CHANGE:  A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Chapmon officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. 

Louise worked for Penn National Insurance for the first part of her career and later served as a caregiver for many years. She saw humor in every area of her life and enjoyed gardening, decorating and spending time at the beach.

She is survived by a daughter; Bonnie Fleiss and husband Glenn Fleiss; step sons, Steven McLemore (Lisa),  Jeff McLemore (Susie), and Dale McLemore (Beth); sisters, Carolyn Preble (Marvin) and Wilma Eanes (Eugene “Bud”); granddaughters, Dayne Sandler (Cody), and Nicole White (Josh); great grandchildren, Amelia (age 4), Avi (20 months), and Daniel (15 months); aunt, Pauline Gibson; as well as a large extended family.

She will be greatly missed!
