Louis Lacy Goins

Reidsville, NC -   Louis Lacy Goins, Sr., 74, of 8175 Benaja Road, died on Sunday, July 27, 2008 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at Lakeview Memorial Park with Pastor Shannon Newsome officiating. Mr. Goins was born in Surry County and was a son of the late Jessie and Della Goins.   He was a veteran of the Army National Guard and retired from  Neal Manufacturing after many years of service. He was preceded in death by a sister, Dot Bowman. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Barbara Goins of the home ; son, Louis Goins and wife, Mindy of Reidsville; six grandchildren; one great granddaughter; sisters, Katherine Moore, Evelyn World, Lizzy Bowman and Bobbi Camp. The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 29th from 7:00 – 9:00 PM.   Other times the family will be at the home of Louis & Mindy   Goins, 766 Knowles Road, Reidsville.
