Linda Ann Price

Linda Ann Price, 79 years young, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 5, 2026, at Cypress Valley in Reidsville.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, April 10, 2026, at Mt. Carmel Church Cemetery with Rev. Ralph Clayton officiating.

Linda was born January 6, 1947, in Rockingham County to the late Wallace Reid Price and Doris Gammon Price. She attended Reidsville High School where she graduated. She then went on to complete her associates degree. Linda was employed by Rockingham County Sheriff Department and later with the NC Rockingham County Agricultural Services.

Linda was a loving daughter, aunt, great-aunt, sister, sister-in-law, friend and roommate. She was a friend to many and she enjoyed shopping, going to the beach (to shop), eating, checking on her friends, games, crafts, and other activities at the facility. After she retired, she also enjoyed sleeping late.

Linda is preceded in death by her father, Wallace R. Price; mother, Doris G. Price; brothers, Jimmy Wayne Price, Larry “Buncie” Price and Ronnie Reid Price.

She is survived by her best friend, Jafarrell Chandler-Long and husband, Andre’ Long; sister-in-law, Wanda Price; nieces, Mandy Brooks, Jessica Price, Katelyn Brooks, Kelly Price, and Jenni Lambert and husband Edouard; nephews, Wesley Price, Larry Price, Jr.; aunt, Hazel French; cousin, Shirley Shelton; friend, Nancy Lavoie; and a host of other extended family and friends.
