Linda Sue Gibson Cobb

Linda Sue Gibson Cobb, 74, of Reidsville, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 13, 2022.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 16, 2022 at Reidsville Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Gordon Fisher officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 PM at Reidsville Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Linda was born in Rockingham County to the late Frank and Mary Gibson. She had a true servant’s heart who spent her time serving her community, including delivering Meals on Wheels for 30 years, being a secretary and choir director at church for over 30 years, and caring for many children as if they were her own. Linda loved gardening, collecting salt and pepper shakers, and adopting every stray animal she came across.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Brenda Cullen; and brother, Alan Gibson.

Linda is survived by her husband of 53 years, Joseph “JC” Cobb; sisters, Joan Gower (Elmo) and Kim Richardson (Ricky); nephews, Brian, Barrett, and Jordan; niece, Candice; a loving extended family and her dogs Sassy and Missy.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Reidsville Pentecostal Holiness Church at 160 Bride Drive, Reidsville, NC 27320.
