Give you my sympathy for your loss. Laula and I grew up in Olin. Our parents' homes were only a couple miles apart. My dad was R..C or Clifford Holland. Loved reading her story. Ramona H. Stafford, Lewisville

Lou will be missed greatly by her Gospel Baptist Church family! She played the piano for us for over 37 years. We have many fond memoires of some of the songs she especially enjoyed. One of her favorites was "When We All Get To Heaven." And we all loved to hear her play "Goodbye World Goodbye" as she made the piano keys dance. She traveled with and enjoyed the Super Senior fellowships for many years. She was always fun, full of humor, knowledge, kindness and love for her Lord. And as we often told her, she had the prettiest blue eyes and beautiful smile! We loved Lou! Pastor Paul and Karen

Wanda, you were a wonderful daughter to Lou. I remember you coming down that hall every day. I went home after about a month. Think of that good cake you shared with me. Mom and I danced together a long time, sometimes they would have a piano and we were in for a treat. She would say call me, but not on Saturday when Laurence Welk was on. Such a wonderful friend. She would let me know in a minute, she was a nurse. She is with our Lord now and knows everything.. May the Lord bless you and all the family. Joy&Jeff Jones

Thinking of you at this time. I have fond memories from the years we worked together in Dr Grimsley's medical office in Stokesdale. That was in the 1960's.and we were working and rearing families. Saw her a few times through the years and we would catch up on our families and current adventures. You were all special to her so please accept my sincerest sympathy at this time.. Mahalia McGee
