Kenneth Ray Owens, Jr.

Kenneth Ray Owens, Jr., 52, of Reidsville passed away August 5, 2026. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 8, 2026 at People’s Church in Reidsville with Pastor Russell McKinny officiating. Burial will follow at People's Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Kenny was born in Rockingham County to Kenneth Ray Owens, Sr. and Debbie Sue Pike. He was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back and never hesitated to help anyone in need. He had a big heart, a generous spirit, and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He dearly loved his dog and enjoyed spending his free time fishing, following racing, watching wrestling, and shooting guns. Whether he was outdoors, at the range, cheering on his favorite wrestlers, or watching a race, he found joy in the simple things and in sharing those moments with the people he cared about.

Kenny was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his sons, Joshua Owens, Michael Owens (Conner), Ashton Owens, and Rosco Owens; his sister, Dawn Pulliam-Martin (Donnie Galloway); his brother, Sam Owens (Michelle); his grandson Michael Jacob Owens, Jr.; his grandmother Estelle Owens and his uncle, Rex Alton Owens (Linda).
