Kathleen Teresa Struble Merchak

Kathleen Teresa Struble Merchak, 80, of Reidsville, passed away on August 10, 2025. A private family Graveside Service will be held at Evergreen Memory Gardens with Father Nohe Torres officiating.

Kathleen was born in Paterson, New Jersey, to the late Arthur Vincent Struble and Ethel Whickham Struble. Originally from New Jersey, Kathleen moved to Reidsville in 2001. While living in New Jersey, she was active at St. Anthony’s, serving with the Rosary Altar Society and the Third Order of St. Francis. She loved knitting and crocheting, had a heart for helping those less fortunate, and cherished her children and grandsons.

In addition to her parents, Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph V. Merchak Jr.; brothers, Arthur W. Struble and Thomas J. Struble; and sisters, Joan Irene Simon, Mary Alice Warr, and Patricia A. Merchak. She is survived by her son, Joseph Vincent Merchak and his wife, Karina; daughter, Ann Marie Mura and her husband, Michael Mura; and grandsons, Eric Mura and his wife, Stephanie, Brian Mura, Devin Merchak, and Nick Merchak.
