Julia "Judy" Stephens

Julia "Judy"  Stephens, born on January 10, 1947 to the late Mable and William Collins.  She passed away on June 25, 2025, leaving a rich legacy of love, warmth, and cherished memories. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.

A visitation honoring Judy's life will take place on Monday, June 30, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Wilkerson Funeral Home located at 1909 Richardson Drive, Reidsville, NC.

Judy's love for the outdoors was boundless. She found joy in working in her yard, tending to her garden, and raising beautiful flowers which reflected her nurturing spirit. Her passion for nature was not just a hobby; it was a testament to her vibrant personality and her ability to cultivate growth in every aspect of her life.

Judy is survived by her loving husband, Douglas Stephens;  sons, Mark Douglas Stephens (Susan) and Timothy Reid Stephens and fiance, Tammy;  brother, Edward Collins (Linda); sister, Betty Hodges (Elridge); along with her beloved grandchildren, Haily Stephens, Angie Stephens, Mandy Pulliam (Jeffrey), Julieann Stephens, Williams Stephens, Reid Stephens,and  Marshie Stephens; and fifteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Each of them carries a piece of her heart, and her legacy will continue to live on through their lives.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death her son, Robert "Tink" Spencer Stephens; sisters, Lillie "Lill" Ward, Barbara "Pete" Collins and Mary "Frances" Todd; grandson, Thomas Reid Stephens. Their memories are forever etched in the hearts of those who loved them.

As we remember Julia "Judy" Stephens, we celebrate a life well-lived, filled with love, laughter, and an enduring spirit. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
