Julia Stephens

Julia Stephens, born on January 10, 1947, passed away on June 25, 2025, leaving a rich legacy of love, warmth, and cherished memories. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.

A visitation honoring Julia's life will take place on Monday, June 30, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Wilkerson Funeral Home located at 1909 Richardson Drive, Reidsville, NC.

Julia's love for the outdoors was boundless. She found joy in working in her yard, tending to her garden, and raising beautiful flowers which reflected her nurturing spirit. Her passion for nature was not just a hobby; it was a testament to her vibrant personality and her ability to cultivate growth in every aspect of her life.

Julia is survived by her loving husband, Douglas Stephens; her sons, Mark Douglas Stephens(Susan) and Timothy Reid Stephens; her brother, Edward Collins(Linda); her sister, Betty Hodges(Elridge); along with her eight beloved grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Each of them carries a piece of her heart, and her legacy will continue to live on through their lives.

In addition to her family, Julia was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Robert Spencer Stephens. Their memories are forever etched in the hearts of those who loved them.

As we remember Julia Stephens, we celebrate a life well-lived, filled with love, laughter, and an enduring spirit. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
