Joyce Ellen Stewart

Joyce Ellen Stewart, 63, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 1, 2021 at Green Valley Hospital. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, on Friday, February 5, 2021 at Greenview Cemetery with Rev. Jonathan Brake officiating. Joyce will be available for viewing on Thursday, February 4, 2021, from 9:00am-5:00pm at Wilkerson Funeral Home. When visiting the funeral home or attending the service please consider the family by remembering social distancing and wearing a mask. Joyce was born in Rockingham County to the late Sammy and Louise Stewart. She was a longtime and faithful member of Woodmont United Methodist Church. She was the co-owner of the TV Radio Clinic of Reidsville. Later in life, Joyce worked at K-Mart and Reidsville Grocery. Regardless of her physical limitations, Joyce would always come up on top with a positive and happy attitude. She loved to laugh, and she never had a harsh word with anyone. Joyce especially enjoyed her membership with the Elks Lodge and her many friendships there. She will truly be missed. She is survived by her brother Paul Stewart and fiancé Roxanne Somers; cousins Jeff and Bonnie Smith, Darrell and Geraldine Terrell and Jimmy and Susan Thompson; and extended family.
