John Thomas "Tommy" Ward

John Thomas “Tommy” Ward, 72, of Reidsville, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Reidlawn Cemetery with Rev. Dave Gilbert officiating.  The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 2^nd from 5:00 – 7:00 PM.

Tommy was born in Caswell County to the late William Ward and Betty Wilson Page Ward.  He graduated from Reidsville High School and went on to be an office manager with NCR, a Loan Officer with GE and shipping manager with Burlington Industries. He decided to start his own business called Ward Exteriors, which he ran for many years.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Griffin Ward; brothers, Junior and Page Ward; grandson, Nicholas Ward, II.

He is survived by his sons, Greg Ward and Nicholas Ward; grandchildren, Oliva Ward and Chase Ward; brother, Allen Ward (Bobbie); sisters, Nellie Ward Childress and Jo Gilbert (Dave); numerous nieces and nephews.
