Jerry Glenn Griffin

Jerry "Jay" Glenn Griffin, 71, of Franklin Park, IL passed away unexpectedly at his home on November 29, 2023.

Jay, formerly of Reidsville, NC retired from Delta Airlines after 30 years of service. He enjoyed his many trips around the world, and all his colleagues he met during his years at Delta.

Jay is preceded in death by his father Herbert Glenn Griffin; long time friend John Martynowycz; brother in law Keith McCollum; niece Christy Taylor; and great niece Emilie Zoe Yang.

Jerry is survived by his mother, Shirley Leake Griffin of Eden; sisters Sharon Middendorf (David) and Virginia Jarrett (Mark) both of Reidsville; nieces, Anna Yang (Jin) of Raleigh and Jennifer McCollum Strickland of Reidsville; nephew Jason Taylor of Greensboro; great nephews Nevyn Yang, Bryce Yang and Connor Yang, all of Raleigh.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
