Jennie Toler Myrick

Jennie Toler Myrick, 51, passed away surrounded by her family at Moses Cone Hospital.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Friday, October 22, 2021 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. John Wicker officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 PM on Thursday, October 21, 2021 and other times at the home. The burial will follow the service at Roselawn Memorial Park.

Jennie was born in Rockingham County to Kenneth Toler and the late Diane Toler. She graduated from Reidsville Highschool. She loved to vacation, and she was always up for a cruise. She never missed a grandchild’s sporting event. Jennie would have described herself as a stay at home “Gi-Gi” and taxi service. She always went to every Friday night football game supporting her team. Most of all, she loved being there for her family. Jennie AKA Susan, will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Diane Davis Toler.

She is survived by her children, Chris Myrick (Ashley) and Brooke Myrick (Jesse); grandchildren, Christian, Kenley and Chase Myrick; father, Kenneth Toler; husband, Kenny Myrick; sister, Tracie Myrick (David); brother, Timmy Toler (Nickie); nieces and nephews, Matthew Michael, Katelin and Kendall Toler, Taylor Barham (Dustin), Trista and Makenzie Myrick along with very close friends, Garland Crowder and Lori Fulp and a loving extended family.
