Pelham: James Cook, 56, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 6, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family.
A Graveside service is scheduled for Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 4:00 PM at Lively Stones Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Michael Kent officiating. Visitation will take place one-hour prior at the church from 3:00 – 3:45 PM. Other times the family will be at the home.
James was born September 8, 1958, in Danville, VA to his late adopted mother, Lucy Jane Cook. He was an avid outdoorsman. He was previously employed by Sam’s Club in Danville.
James is survived by his wife, Barbara Cook and son, Lance Cook of the home.
